Ari

Group leader

Ari (born 1963) is an experienced trekker and feels at home in extreme wilderness. Currently he works as an instructor at an Emergency Services College. He has also worked as a paramedic in a rescue helicopter. Additionally he is an enthusiastic sailor.

Mikko

Group leader
Mikko (born 1980) is a real survival expert. Our little nature boy looks soft but he can live off the land and withstand extreme temperatures. He has welltrained dogs that help him hunt and survive in the rugged environment of Northern Lapland. Mikko lives well north from the arctic circle all year long and has been into trekking all his life. His vast experience, mental stamina and physical condition make him a group leader regardless of his relatively young age. Mikko has also experience in sailing and can use all sorts of vehicles including snow mobiles and all-terrain 4WD. He has worked for years as a frontier guard.

Matti

Ranger
Matti (born 1983) is a reliable ranger. He has years of experience in trekking. He is a certified professional pilot and has taught navigation in an international flight school and for the armed forces.

Juha

Ranger
Juha (born 1975) is an experienced hiker who has done several hikes alone in the trailless wilderness of Northern Lapland. He is also an enthusiastic cycler and often does combined hiking and cycling tours.

Lauri

Medic
Lauri (born 1977) is a medical doctor and a specialist in general surgery. He has worked for years in the ER. In case of any medical problem it´s good to have an experienced doctor available right away. Additionally he is a good navigator and has years of experience in sailing and trekking.

Team

The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.

And in the end, it´s not the years in your life that count. It´s the life in your years.

We are always getting ready to live but never living.

I go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in order.
